Parrish Cello Trio at WIU
Parrish Cello Trio will be the guest ensemble for the inaugural WIU "Cellobration" at the end of September! Kenny Lee is the Cello Professor and Orchestra Director at Western Illinois University, and will be hosting and overseeing this exciting, cello-centered event.
Our trio will be playing a set of music for the main event on Sept. 30 as well as giving classes and playing in a large cello ensemble with students. Jamie Clark and I will also be playing Giovanni Sollima's double cello concerto with the WIU Symphony Orchestra the day before, with Kenny on the podium.
This is the trio's second residency so far, and we are really looking forward to it! If you're a cellist in the WIU area, we'd love to meet you at the event. Full details here.
